Coffee Gems in Vegas

undiscovered | caffeine | trendy

There is a world beyond the glistening lights of the Las Vegas strip.

It just took me sixteen visits to discover it.

Vegas' downtown arts district is an up-and-coming area just north of the strip and nestled between wedding chapels; I found a few blocks of culture, which naturally breeds coffee.

These were my favourite finds, all within a few blocks.

Vesta Coffee's Venue.

Vesta Coffee, on a Saturday, has a line backed up out of the door, but they're worth the wait. Their room has a chic vibe; they're cashless and serious about coffee. It's a good place to work but a better place to hang with friends.

Bungalow Coffee Co has that big sip energy.

Bungalow's spacious room is great for working, and their aesthetic is plants.

Coffee, plants and good food @ Bungalow.

Their relatively healthy menu offers a respite from the over-caloried strip restaurants. If you're in Vegas longer than a weekend, your body will crave nutrient-dense food, and this spot is a good option, especially if you have a car during your stay.

Dragon's Alley.

Dragons Alley Coffee is a gem I found inside Taverna Costera. It's more of a take-out spot, and the venue is small, but if you're into weekend brunch, the Taverna has live music with a Vegas vibe. Mimosa's on fleek.

Highlights

Bungalow, for their space, and plant paradise aesthetic, with good coffee and food to boot.
